SOUTHEAST COMMUNITY SERVICES provides programs and activities designed to "assist community residents in achieving their goals." | HOMELESS PREVENTION provides for residents' needs by assessing challenges and working toward achieving a sense of dignity through self-reliance and self sufficiency. | EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE helps people meet their basic needs. Resources are available for a variety of purposes including food, clothing, rental, and utility assistance. Funds for some are available throughout the year; other needs are seasonal. | EMPLOYMENT REFERRALS and extensive personal support are available to the unemployed or underemployed to help them become more self-sufficient at no cost to them. |

INFORMATION AND REFERRAL provides assistance when it is not directly available from Southeast Community Services. Residents are given information and/or referrals to connect them with other service providers including agencies that provide food, employment, housing, health care, childcare, education, clothing, or counseling. To insure that residents are served fairly, counselors may contact other service providers. |
